These weekly acting training sessions offer a structured yet playful journey through the essential elements of acting. Working consistently over time allows you to build technique, confidence, and presence while developing a deeper understanding of the actor’s process.
### What you’ll explore in the weekly sessions
• Foundation
We begin with the body and breath, cultivating grounding, awareness, and presence. Through physical and vocal work, you’ll strengthen your connection to yourself, your voice, and the space—supported by improvisation to unlock freedom and spontaneity.
• Character & Emotion
You’ll work with tools that support truthful acting: impulses, emotional availability, relationships, and listening. The focus is on responding authentically in the moment, allowing characters to emerge naturally rather than being forced.
• Text & Scenes
Ongoing text and scene work forms a central part of the training. You’ll explore scripts through subtext, objectives, and interaction, developing clarity, intention, and responsiveness with a scene partner—both for stage and screen.
### The Training Environment
Led by David Tobias Schneider, professional actor, director, and acting coach with extensive international theatre and film experience, the sessions offer a safe, focused, and inspiring space to take risks, explore, and grow.
