In the first part of the meeting, we will have introductions and a discussion. The discussion topic is "How long till we achieve Artificial General Intelligence?". Here, we hope you will bring your reasoned opinion about which components of intelligence have already been replicated in machines and which components we have still not been able to replicate (and therefore need to research and develop).
In the second part of the meeting, we will discuss organizational issues. In the last event, we decided to start a book club, where we read a book related to AGI and discuss it together in the events. We need to make some decisions on the choice of books/resources and the modality. Everyone is welcome in participating.
Since we are hosted by a restaurant, everyone is expected to order some food (however small).
