Whether you’re building modern applications or working on optimizing cloud infrastructure, this meetup will provide valuable takeaways for everyone involved in the Kubernetes ecosystem.
Speakers:
- Felix Hochleitner
- Kubernetes as a Jukebox - Modern Infrastructure as Code with Crossplane: This talk shows how Kubernetes in conjunction with Crossplane can go beyond container orchestration to manage diverse infrastructure as code. We'll compare Crossplane with Terraform, and discuss applying GitOps principles to infrastructure management. In a live demo, I'll demonstrate how to manage a Spotify playlist using these tools, showcasing the flexibility of modern infrastructure as code solutions. This talk will provide practical insights to enhance your approach to cloud-native infrastructure management.
- Katrina Rogan
- Building out production grade ML workflows on Kubernetes with Flyte: The core design principles behind Kubernetes like scalable services deployments, reliable scheduling, and declarative state management nicely complement the complex requirements for machine learning workflows. Flyte, an OSS LF AI & Data Foundation Graduate Project, is the Kubernetes-native ML orchestrator that delivers highly scalable, fault tolerant and reproducible workflows. Learn how Flyte builds on Kubernetes to orchestrate compute along with other CNCF technologies like Helm, gRPC, and Prometheus.
