Shoot Through the City - A Depth & Framing Adventure

Let’s get creative before the holidays!

Join us on Sunday, December 7th at 2pm for a special outdoor photowalk focused on shooting through openings, holes, railings, doors, frames, and anything that helps create beautiful depth and soft foreground blur.

We’ll meet at the Deutsches Museum Verkehrszentrum (easily accessible via U4 / U5 – Schwanthalerhöhe), explore the area for interesting structures, then continue toward the Bavaria Statue, and finally end at the Tollwood Winter Festival on Theresienwiese.
The photowalk is free, open to everyone, and suitable for all levels - from total beginners to professional photographers.
You can join with a camera OR your smartphone - both work perfectly for this theme!

## What We’ll Explore

As we walk, we’ll look for unique openings and frames, such as:
• Metal railings and fences
• Arches and columns near the Hall of Fame
• Doors, windows, and architectural gaps
• Bike frames, stair openings, and structural holes
• Branches, trees, winter textures
• Warm lights and decorations at Tollwood
• Anything that creates a natural frame or foreground blur
This is a 2-hour planned walk, but everyone is warmly encouraged to stay longer at Tollwood. Enjoy the creative atmosphere, grab a glühwein, chat, socialize, and capture a few extra magical shots.

## Route Overview

1. Meet at 2pm at Deutsches Museum Verkehrszentrum
2. Shoot-through practice around the museum’s industrial structures
3. Walk along Bavariaring with stops for architectural framing
4. Explore the Bavaria Statue & Hall of Fame (arches, columns, openings)
5. Short walk to Tollwood Festival, optional extended shooting & social time

Easy, accessible, beginner-friendly, and full of creative possibilities.

• Dress warm! It may be cold, especially near sunset.
• Bring gloves you can still use with your camera / phone.
• A hot drink at Tollwood is highly recommended!
