What we’re about
Munich Walk-n-Talk 45+ | Health, Experience & Life in a Changing Society
This Meetup is for people aged 45+ who enjoy walking, thinking, and exchanging experience in a respectful and calm atmosphere.
We will meet in Ostpark (Munich) for a relaxed 1*-hour walk, usually on Saturday before noon*, starting from spring 2026.
If the weather is unsuitable, the walk will be cancelled.
The group is non-commercial and based on peer exchange.
There are no classical lectures, no therapy, and no medical advice.
How our walk works:
First half – Health & self-care after 45
Each meeting has one topic of the week.
The moderator gives a short introduction, then participants exchange thoughts and personal experience.
Topics may include:
- physical and mental health
- stress, burnout, recovery
- movement, pain, sleep, energy
- navigating the healthcare system
- what helps while waiting for appointments
- habits that support long-term well-being
Listening is absolutely fine. Speaking is always voluntary.
Second half – Life, purpose & contribution
We talk about questions important for people 45+, such as:
- work, transition, and retirement
- learning, creativity, and curiosity
- social contribution and responsibility
- how experience and maturity can matter today
- what gives meaning at this stage of life
Language
We speak English and German – whatever feels comfortable for you.
Mixed language is welcome.

Two Ground Rules
1. Speak from personal experience
We share what helped us personally, not what others “should” do.
Different experiences can exist side by side.
2. Space for everyone
Some people like to speak, others prefer to listen.
We try to leave space so that different voices can be heard over time.
