What we’re about
Let's get together to learn from each other and create art in good company!
It doesn't matter if you are young or a senior, or which background you have. Art is a great way to meet new people while learning and improving in a community. This is a group for anyone interested in drawing, sketching or painting. All skill levels are welcome as long as you are open-minded and eager to learn from others.
The goal of this group is to bring together art enthusiasts and improve our skills in a fun activity!

See all- Picnic & Illustrating Idioms/Proverbs TogetherEnglischer Garten, München
It will get sunny this Saturday, so it will be perfect for heading out, drawing and having a lovely picnic! :)
Everyone brings a proverb/idiom from their culture, childhood, or mother tongue to share with the group.
The proverb should be something meaningful from your cultural background - those wise sayings your grandparents repeated, like "still waters run deep," the expressions you grew up hearing in your family's language, or phrases that carry the wisdom of your heritage. We'd love to see how "it's raining cats and dogs" might look on paper, or how you'd illustrate that special saying only locals from your hometown would understand!✨
Everyone is welcome! We're always a lovely mix of experienced artists and complete beginners.
Please bring
- Your sketchbook or paper (Minimum A5!)
- Your special proverb 💬✒️🎨
- Drawing materials of your choice
- A blanket or something to sit on
- Some food to share (finger food is the easiest to share ;) ) and something to drink
