Sketching Stories Together

Join us for a cosy drawing gathering! :)
We'll meet in a relaxed café with coffee and cake. Everyone brings their favourite book to sketch the spine of it (you don't have to copy the spine, feel free to use artistic freedom)! All book spine sketches will be collected in a community piece that represents our "community bookshelf".

The book can be anything - a childhood favorite that shaped you, a novel that touched your heart, a quirky story that makes you smile, or beautiful words discovered during your travels. Drawing something inspired by a book that holds special meaning for you is especially fun! ✨
Everyone is welcome! We're always a lovely mix of experienced artists and complete beginners.

Please bring

• Your sketchbook or paper (Minimum A5!)
• Your beloved book 📚✒️🎨
• Drawing materials of your choice
• Since we're in a café, please avoid messy mediums like oils, acrylics, and charcoal. Watercolour tank brushes (not regular watercolours), colour pencils or markers are great!

Please note: This is an event for just 8 people - please be fair to the others and only join if you can come! :)

Art is a wonderful way to meet new people while learning and improving in a community. Can't wait to draw and meet you! 🌟
