What we’re about

For everyone who wants to exercise drawing or painting from a life nude model.

Improve the way you see the world. Learn from observation the construction of the human figure and the interaction of light, form and color.

I share the model and some studio space.
You should bring all your materials you need: like a drawing board and easel, pencils, paints, brushes and easel etc. But please do not bring or use any solvents!

We start with 5 min poses for 1h and then do a single long pose for 2h.

*Every* level is welcome.

Note: this is not a course. Me and other participants are in general exchanging tips, opinions and sources to learn from, in an open minded way.

Depending on interest we may increase the number of events per week in future.
if you have any question or remark, do not hesitate and contact me!

-----

COVID-19 Note:
Space is very limited. In the past we had up to 16 participants plus model.
But now
- We now can only start with currently just *3* participants besides me and the model, per session.
- Every participant wears a mask at all times
- The model may not wear a mask during a pose, but only if everybody is comfortable with that.
- The minimal distance is 1,5 meters
- Windows are opened in every break
- You are required to prove identity and leave your contact data & phone number
- An upfront registration and payment a sharing fee of currently 15 Euro is required.
- Note: This fee is not reimbursable (if you show up or not, get sick, made up your mind etc.) It is reimbursable only if you got covid 19 and show a test or the whole event is cancelled from our side.
- We recommend to install and activate the corona app during the session on your smart phone

To keep it simple for all to plan somehow and still allow to continue a painting:
- you can signup for a next session during a session or
- signup not earlier then 48h before the begin of the event. We will announce earlier but space opens up later.

----
Some other rules:
- We are interested in general to share our results. So you and your work may show up on photos in social media. If you do not like that, that is fine too but let others know that right at the beginning of the session.

- In general still ask for permission anyway before taking photos besides your own work

- Do not talk or even take photos of the model while posing.
- Again: Do not bring or use any solvents, no turps, no odorless mineral spirits etc.
