Munich Explorers Club 56th Presentation Evening

Fellow explorers!

Four month ago we had the first event again after two years of forced absence. Seeing all those familiar but also new faces was very nice and we hope to get back on a more regular schedule for future events. So hereby we are happy to announce the 56th event :-)

We are always looking for presenters, especially for next events!
If you have a story to tell or an experience to share don't hesitate to contact us! No need to be afraid of the stage, we're just a bunch of curious people.

Presentations on this event:

1. Slovakia: a hidden gem in central Europe. In September of 2019 and 2020, I fled Oktoberfest, took my car and headed to Slovakia. I skipped the capital city and traveled off the beaten track in a country which is ignored by most tourists. -- by Arnaud Walther
2. The other side of Turkey: from Cappadocia to Hakkari. East-Turkey is pretty much unknown land when it comes to tourism with little exceptions like Göreme. On a road trip I tried to get a feeling for this strip of land with its unique history. -- by Sascha Kattelmann
3. South Africa: unique social projects from Capetown to Kwazulunatal. My journey as a volunteer to exceptional charity projects in South Africa has changed my life. I will share the stories of local heroes who are making a difference and show how you can get involved too. What can we learn from the people there? See the contrast between picturesque landscapes and places where at first glance you don't see color and beauty. -- by Agnes Mazur

Doors open at 6:30 pm and the show starts at 7 pm. We are happy to provide snacks and drinks for free during the event.
