Dear Frontiers,
I am happy to announce our next FrontMuc meetup happening on June 27th at the amazing office of netlight, Prannerstr. 4.
As usual, we will welcome and register everyone from 18:30 to 19:00, and then the talks will begin. It will be an On-Site event only.
19:05 - 19:10 Welcome words by Uliana and Netlight
19:15 Talk 1:
Title: Painless Micro Frontend Orchestration with Picard
Speaker: Dr. Florian Rappl is a solution architect from Germany who is specialized in the creation of scalable distributed web applications. He is almost exclusively working on micro frontend solutions. Florian is a long time Microsoft MVP in the development tools area.
Abstract: OpenComponents, single-spa, SystemJS, Piral, Native Federation, Module Federation, ... the list goes on. What if we take the best of these systems and come up with a single library that allows you to "just" embed micro frontends? No tooling is required, and no constraints are implied. Just plain micro frontend orchestration.
In this talk, Florian will show you a new project that makes it possible to use micro frontends essentially everywhere. In your existing web app, in your new website, in a mobile app, or in an Electron shell. You choose.
Welcome to Picard - the captain for your enterprise in the realm of a next-generation federation.
19:45 Talk 2:
Title: Improving CSS value parsing - DevTools Styles tab
Speaker: Philip Pfaffe, Software engineer, Chrome DevTools
Description:
As CSS evolves with powerful new syntax like color-mix() and sin(), DevTools needs to adapt to accurately process and display these exciting features.
20:15 Talk 3:
