Earth Observation and Geospatial Analytics

Hey Geoawesome People,

We invite you to join us at the first Geoawesomeness meetup of 2023, which we are organizing with support from UP42. The event will be full of exciting talks with speakers from diverse backgrounds sharing their experiences and innovations in Earth Observation (EO) and Geospatial Analytics.

We will discuss the EO tools that are getting used to monitor and subvert climate threats, emerging awareness and the organizations in the geospatial sector.

The schedule of the meetup looks like the following:

• The door will open at 18:30
• (18:30-18:35): Icebreaker and introduction. We have a lot to catch up :)
• (18:30-19:45): Short presentations from speakers (15mins & 25mins slots)
• Presentations from: LiangDao, DLR, GAF, Village Data Analytics and the Sisters of SAR/ Ladies of Landsat.
• (19:45-20:30): Panel discussion and social exchanges
