We welcome you all to our first in-person (another try!!) meetup since the Covid outbreak. It will be exciting to see you all after a long break. The event will be full of exciting talks where we have speakers from diverse backgrounds who will share their experiences and innovations in spatial science.
What's on the agenda?
(18:30 - 18:35) We will start with an introduction. There's so much to catch up :)
(18:35 - 18:50) Zhaiyu, a Ph.D. candidate at TUM Data Science in Earth Observation, will present how he uses deep implicit fields for 3D building reconstruction from LiDAR
(18:50 - 19: 05) Anna Brand, Remote Sensing & GIS expert at RSS Gmbh, will present how RSS uses earth observation and deep learning to tackle the plastic debris challenge from source to the sink.
(19:05 - 19:20) Dmitry Rashkovetsky, Remote Sensing Leat at OroraTech, will discuss wildfires, their contribution to climate change, and the challenges it presents to society. He will present how OroraTech detects wildfire from space.
(19:20 - 19:45) Dr. Manfred Krischke, CEO of Cloudeo AG
(19:45 - 20:30) Panel discussion and social exchanges
