MUC HW #4: Discover FORA; robots with a human touch'; Engineering approaches
Details
We're looking forward to our fourth Munich Hardware Meetup, this time hosted at the FORA headquarters in the heart of Munich. You’ll get the chance to explore the FORA space and hear an introduction to its vision, followed by an inspiring talk from navel robotics on building robots with a human touch. And of course, there will be plenty of time for networking with fellow hardware and robotics enthusiasts.
Hardware Meetups happen in over 30 cities around the world, helping bring together founders, engineers, and other hardware professionals to networks, share insights, and collaborate with one another.
Note
We are migrating our event to the Luma platform, please subscribe to our calendar here to stay tuned!
Our presenters
As founder of FORA, Darius Göttert is building a place for builders in the heart of Munich — a space to bring together makers and startup founders.
In his entrepreneurial journey he has been deeply involved in Munich's startup ecosystem, helping found and shape communities and initiatives for young founders.
For this meetup, Darius will not only be our speaker but also our host, giving attendees the chance to experience the FORA space firsthand and hear his introduction to the vision behind it.
Empathy meets engineering: discover how combining cutting-edge hardware and software is giving robots a human touch!
Alexandre Colucci, CTO at navel robotics, brings 20 years of experience in developing and producing consumer electronics, with deep expertise in software. At Navel Robotics, he and his team create empathetic robotic beings, social robots that people enjoy interacting with.
Andreos Kaplanov is a product-minded business leader and mechanical engineer focused on solving problems in climate tech, with a career spanning engineering, product development, and commercial leadership at the intersection of technology and business. In his talk, he will share insights from firsthand experience working with both Tesla and BMW — revealing how each company tackles engineering challenges, drives innovation, and approaches problem-solving in fundamentally different ways.
