More about the talks:

1. Talk #1: The demand for implementing MLOps is increasing, but it remains challenging in pharma companies. The speaker will share insights from Roche pRED's journey in implementing MLOps to serve different use cases with diverse requirements and data modalities.
2. Talk #2: GitOps has emerged as a popular approach for managing infrastructure in the cloud-native era. In this talk, we'll explore how dstack applies GitOps principles to ML to radically simplify the development process, and allow your ML team to achieve more with less.
3. Talk #3: Discover how implementing the CGX communication framework and FFCV (Fast Forward Computer Vision) for data loading optimization in PyTorch improves scalability in multi-GPU deep learning training. These approaches mitigate I/O bottlenecks, boost performance, and contribute to substantial savings in training costs and resource usage.

About our speakers:

1. #1: Le (Muller) Mu is using his background in IT and molecular biology to speed up the drug discovery process at Roche. As the tech lead for the Roche pRED MLOps Service team, he is operationalizing various machine learning models to deliver better medicines to patients faster.
2. #2: Andrey is a core developer of dstack. He is passionate about open-source and developer tools. Previously, Andrey was a PM of PyCharm at JetBrains.
3. #3: Stefan Ojanen is the Director of Product Management at Genesis Cloud and comes from a background of product management and machine learning model development. Prior to Genesis Cloud, Stefan managed two data science teams at Scorable, an AI start-up that created AI-driven tools for asset managers.
