IMPORTANT: AFTER SIGN-UP PLEASE READ YOUR PRIVATE MESSAGES!

If you don’t react on private messages you will be deleted from the match and the next one in the waitinglist will get the spot.

Matches are also promoted outside of meetup, means the number of participants in the event description might not be accurate. I try to update this accordingly - to make sure you’ll get a spot it’s always best to sign up early however and check your messages directly after.

Event description:

Welcome to Munich Padel Meetup which should bring players together in a friendly and personal atmosphere.

We‘re playing on 2 courts with up to 10 participants. The 1st four players (means those who signed up first) will go straight to the game-court while the others will stay on the 2nd court which is the training-court and do some practice until it’s their turn.
After 3 points the winner team will remain on the game-court while the losers will go to the training court and switch places with the next players. This usually works pretty well and everyone will play at least 2-3 games while the rest of the time can be used for training.

Disclaimer: You shouldn't confuse this with a professional training session. None of us has a trainer license and is able to give professional instructions. I have some training equipment though and think repetitive exercises are useful even without specific instructions to just get a feeling for the game. If you need professional advice you should book a training lesson with a real trainer which is of course more expensive. What we are doing is rather self-training and at the same time a good way to match different levels as more advanced players usually spend more time on the game-court while all others have the chance to enhance their game joining the training-court

FURTHER INFORMATION:

Sign up and payment should preferably be done directly over Playtomic but other modes of payment are also available.

Occasionally the above given mode might be changed especially if we don’t find enough players or if you get annoyed of too much training. Rules are not fixed in any way and everything is flexible. I’m actually glad about feedback and criticism as I’m still trying to figure out how this can be done in the best way.

In case there shouldn’t be enough sign ups the 2nd court will be cancelled. If you're already signed up for the second court I’ll inform you as soon as possible in case this should be necessary and you’ll of course get a full refund.

If you sign up early there are 2 advantages:

  1. you will get a direct spot on the game-court and don’t need to take the detour via the training-court
  2. what might be interesting for those without a racket:
I’m offering my spare racket for free to the first one who signs up and asks for it. If there should be more than one player needing a racket you’ll otherwise have to rent it from the facility what will cost about 4 euro as far as I know. I will try to organize further rackets however so if you need one please just ask in advance and I can let you know if there are still free rackets available.

Cancelation is possible until 32 hours in advance so those on the waitinglist have a chance to take the spot instead. For later cancellations it depends if we’re able to find a replacement.

If the weather shouldn’t look good I try to arrange a refunded from the facility but usually we’re meeting anyway and then see if it’s possible to play or not (unless the weather forecast looks really, really bad).
This of course doesn’t apply if we’re playing indoors.
Playing is always at your own risk. We're not responsible for any issues in terms of health reltated problems and injuries as well as for lost property or any other problems that might come with joinging our games.

This event is for all levels. We don’t care about your origin, gender, age, overall fitness level or anything else. In case the level of players should be very different we will accordingly put those with similar levels together so you neither need to be afraid that the level is too high nor that it will be boring for you. Up til now everyone managed to have fun no matter if you’re a beginner or a world class player - everyone is equally welcome.
