Let's All Go to Allgäu - weekend ride - medium

Get ready for an unforgettable 3-day cycling trip through the stunning Allgäu countryside, perfect for newcomers and seasoned riders alike!

We’re heading to the charming village of Isny im Allgäu and we’d love for you to join us—especially if you’re new to group rides or looking for a fun, active weekend!

When: Friday morning to Sunday, May 16-18 2025.

Where: Start with a train ride from Hbf to Kempten , then cycle through the picturesque Allgäu region, with two overnights in Isny im Allgäu.

Route:
Day 1 - Train to Kempton, cycle -> Isny : 45km (easy->medium).
Day 2 - Around Algau : 65km (medium).
Day 3 - Isny -> Memmingen : 60km (easy).

Overall I rate this ride MEDIUM difficulty (compared to the usual Sunday cycling rides) —ideal for anyone with average fitness. If you can ride a bike for an hour, then have an hour break, then do it again two more times, you’re ready for this! We’ll keep a relaxed pace with plenty of breaks to enjoy the scenery, snap photos, and grab snacks.

This is a great chance to meet new people, explore a beautiful area, and enjoy some fresh air. Newcomers, women and younger riders, are warmly encouraged to join—our group is all about building a supportive cycling community.

This ride will be weather dependent, and may be cancelled (until perhaps Wednesday, 14th May (at which point we just have to decide) if the weekend looks really terrible. It's recommended you do not pre-pay your hotel.

This trip is designed to be approachable for beginners while still offering a rewarding tour for regular cyclists. The Allgäu region is beautiful, with rolling hills and cozy villages
