Talk about Domain-Driven Design with Vertical Slice Architecture

What is Vertical Slice Architecture? When adding or changing a feature in an application, we typically modify many different "layers"—adjusting the user interface, adding fields to models, updating validations, etc. Instead of coupling changes across layers, Vertical Slice Architecture couples them vertically along a slice, minimizing coupling between slices and maximizing it within a slice.

This architecture is an excellent choice for refactoring (legacy) applications towards Domain-Driven Design.

We will meet at 18:30 in the codecentric Office in Munich and first have some Pizza (Thanks to codecentric for the sponsoring). After that we will hear Jimmy's Talk and then we have the opportunity to discuss the topic further. You can of course stay for more networking and socializing.
