Hike (Medium ++) - Höllentalklamm (Garmisch)

Hi there,

the most beautiful and exiting gorge in Bavaria promises to open on June 6th :-) Would you like to join me for this beautiful hike through the Höllentalklamm in Garmisch? It will rain the days before so the gorge wll be at its best with a lot of water. Do not join if you are afraid of heights or afraid to get wet :-)

Please note additional costs are
1. Entrance fee gorge: 7 EUR
2. Zugspitzbahn: about 3 EUR

HIKE: The hike is medium to difficult . It has approx 780 m elevation and is about 20 km long. The path is partly difficult with wet slippery paths. Good hiking boots are a must have! You will get very wet in the gorge, so rain gear or chance of cloth is a must have.

We will start the hike in Garmisch and go over the Kramerplateuaweg to Hammerabach . From there we will head up to the beautiful Höllentalklamm and then to the Höllentalangerhütte where we can have lunch.

Meeting time and place: We will meet at 9:00 at the begin of track 26. At 9:05 we will board the train. If you are late or can t find us simply board the train and leave at Garmisch. We will take the RE61 at 9:14
I assume everyone has the Deutschlandticket, otherwise please take care of your own ticket.

We do not rush, we wait for everyone, but please consider if you are fit enough.

Food and drinks: we can eat at the Höllentalangerhüttte. But bring whatever you want for the day.
