Hike (Medium) – Entenlochklamm

IMPORTANT:
- Do not join if you are afraid of heights ! As part of the hike you have to cross some high hanging bridges.
- The train/bus connection is a bit difficult. I can not guarentee that it will work. If it does not work we might end up doing something else...
Hi there
this is a beauriful hike over an old smuggler path between Germany and Austria. Its not a hike to a peak but a constant up and down alongside a river.
Important: Good hiking shoes are a must have!
IT is a medium hike to the Entenlochklamm at the border between Bavaria and Tirol. It is technical partly challenging and you must be sure that you are not afraid of heights. It has approx 17 km long and has 500 HM.
Meeting time and place: We will meet at 7:45 at the begin of track 9. At 7:50 we enter the train. If you cant find us just enter the train and get out at Übersee. I trust everyone has the Deutschlandticket, otherwise please take care of your own ticket.
We take BRB RE5 at 7:56. we leave in Übersee and switch to the bus 9509. At 9:36 we take the bus to Ettenhausen Zollamt
Tour: The tour is approx. 5 hours long
Food and drinks: I would advise to bring water and food for lunch. It might be difficult to find a restaurant.
You can easily spot me at plattform 9. I will have a red backpack.
