Camino del Imán from Cueva de Nerja

We will start the day with a visit to the Cueva de Nerja. You have to get a ticket, or otherwise show up after the cave visit just for the hike. On weekdays at 9:30am they offer free tickets for EU residents; these go on sale 48h beforehand (9:30am on Wednesday May 7!) so set yourself a reminder! You still pay €6 for the virtual reality room unless you skip that. Otherwise just buy a regular ticket for €15.50 for an entry at 9:40am (which includes the Virtual Reality Room): www.cuevadenerja.es

Schedule:
8:10 car pool from Malaga, TBD
~9:30 cave visit
~10:45 start hike
~15:30 finish hike in Frigiliana, drive/taxi back to Nerja
stop for dinner or drinks as desired

The route follows much of the GR249 footpath, following a river bed and leading inland from the cave. After the picnic area of El Pinarillo, it crosses 4 gorges through a wild mountain scenery which makes it hard to believe you're just a few km from the urban life and coast.
