About us

Whodunit Budapest brings together English-speaking people for relaxed, social mystery nights in cozy venues around the city. It’s not theatre and it’s not intense roleplay, just a light, interactive whodunit designed to spark connections and laughter.

We welcome everyone who enjoys meeting new people in a friendly, low-pressure setting. No acting experience is needed, curiosity and a good sense of humor are enough.

At each event, you’ll receive a character, uncover clues, and work your way through a playful mystery while enjoying a casual evening out at a downtown bar.

The story gives structure, but the real focus is connection, atmosphere and a genuinely fun night in Budapest.

A murder, a vineyard, and too much wine… what could possibly go wrong?

Step into a world of secrets and laughter at our first Whodunit interactive evening. You’ll become one of the guests at a wine tasting event but when the host suddenly drops dead, it’s up to everyone to uncover the killer among you.

Language: English
Players: 6–10 (no acting experience needed)
Duration: 2–2.5 hours
Location: A cozy wine bar in central Budapest (final venue shared after reservation)

You’ll receive a character role, hidden secrets, and clues to help you solve the case - all while enjoying good company, good wine, and a night full of surprises.

The experience is tip-based, but drinks are purchased separately. Feel free to enjoy as much (or as little) wine as you like.
