About us
I started this book club to bring together people who enjoy reading cozy mysteries (think Murder She Wrote, Miss Marple, Hannah Swenson, Agatha Raisin) or would like to start reading them.
What’s a cozy mystery? They are a sub-genre of mysteries that feature an amateur detective (usually a woman) who attempts to solve a community based mystery. Add quirky characters, red herrings, a pun or two (or twelve!), maybe a food or library theme, and potentially a sleuthing cozy companion…and voila! A cozy mystery.
You are welcome to join the sleuthing fun! We meet the first Saturday morning of the month to talk about a cozy mystery book (first of a series) over brunch. We will be rotating meeting locations at breakfast restaurants around Las Vegas and Henderson. All adults are welcome to join and book suggestions are encouraged.
