Princeton University Art Museum
Details
Weather do-over! We did this in January, but had a pretty bad snowstorm which kept most people away. We'll try again and keep fingers crossed for better weather.
We'll visit the new home of the Princeton University Art Museum. From their website:
Broad in scope yet intimate in experience, the Museum presents opportunities to delve deeply into the study of art and culture, offers a revitalizing experience of extraordinary works of art from around the globe, and provides entry to the University’s intellectual resources. Bringing together outstanding works of art, fresh scholarship, and wide-ranging perspectives, the Museum promotes dialogue among diverse audiences, fosters inquiry and curiosity, and affords encounters that excite the imagination. The Museum acts as a hub and gathering space in which people come together in a welcoming atmosphere, and in which intellectual stimulation goes hand-in-hand with emotional, psychological, and social well-being.
Admission if free!
There is parking throughout Princeton (although you will need to walk to the museum once parked) and the campus is accessible via public transportation - for more details click here. You will definitely need to consult GPS or a map from parking to the museum.
