Culturing and Growing Oyster Mushrooms at Home! Pt 2

Details

**Please be advised there has been shutdown freeway access on the weeekend so plan route accordingly to be on time, thank you!**

Our vibrant new and exciting mushroom growing class continues!! If you are new, have no idea how to grow mushrooms at all, you are still welcome to join in at this point.

I had a fantastic time teaching at our last meeting and I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. During the session, we learned how to pour agar plates and how inoculate the nutrient plates with various mushroom cultures. Additionally, We also learned a little bit about the theory of mushroom growing and sterile culture techniques. While that may seem uninteresting when written down, it was anything but dull at the meeting.

If you were unable to attend the last meeting, there's no need to worry. You will be provided with a culture plate to work with, all supplies are included. For those who did attend, we invite you to bring along the culture plates you've been working on, no matter the shape they've taken, so that we can all appreciate the progress made.

In the upcoming class, we will be transferring your plated cultures to sterile grain to proceed with the next stage of fruiting your mushrooms. This step brings us closer to the actual growth of mushrooms. Once again as promised, we will have work stations set up so you can see how they can be easily duplicated at home if you want to start growing mushrooms on your own. It's very simple, and you might think it can't work, but it does.
We are offering a great deal once again at $35 per person, thanks to the supplies we will be providing, just like last time.

Continue spreading spores and I look forward to seeing you then!
