Monthly Music Workshop January 2024 Part 1 @ Open Lab Multimedia Center

[EDIT] The date has changed to Sunday 1/14 because the library is not open on Saturday 1/13.

[EDIT] We will be at the recording room not the sigma rehearsal room this time to record our singing!

[NOTICE] The location is at MRT Ximen Exit 5 and not at Openlab.Taipei!

Let's record our singing over the song we made at the Open Lab Multimedia Center the last meetup!

Risette (Sakura Sakura Miyoko on Youtube) can make songs based on your ideas for the 30-Second Song Challenge, or you can share your melody and lyrics with her and she can kick-start you.

In order to access this facility, you need an Easy Card to register for national library membership. For first-timers, if you are a Taiwanese citizen, bring your ID, and if you're a foreigner, bring some identification like an ARC for verification. They will ask you to fill out some personal information with your phone. Just report to the front desk!

The event fee is entirely FREE.

We are just going to finish off what we left off last time. Remember if you choose to participate in this event, our collaborative work will be published on my YouTube channel credited to those who made an effort.

From my experience people tend to arrive late. So what I have planned is we are going to have some oranges outside the 14th floor (there is a lounge at Open Lab) and a water dispenser and we will enjoy some morning milk tea or something. We will wait till 10:00 for everyone to arrive and then we will head to the recording room. I have a lot of equipment to set up so I will join your tea chat after I am done. During this time you can get to know other people, network and even share ideas as to what kind of song you want to make that day. Since everything now starts from scratch, it's going to be intense and more intermediate, but we should be fine. And last but not least I have a mic if anyone wants to karaoke to songs on YouTube. ⭐WHAT TO BRING⭐
Oh, bring a canteen/waterbottle for the water dispenser! And also don't forget some ID if you have never been here so you can get library membership. Let us make it a relaxing experience.
