It's like book club but with music: we meet monthly on Sunday afternoons to discuss the focus album of the month over a play-through of the album. Then we go around the table and share songs that fit the theme.

About Music Eaters music club: Music Eaters music club meets monthly at the upstairs lounge of The Royale Food & Spirits to discuss, over a play through, the focus album and play your song picks from that month's theme. The purpose of the club is to talk and learn about music with a group of music loving peers.

Who chooses the album and sets the theme? How does this all work?
A randomized drawing occurs from the names on next month's confirmed RSVP list.
The person who chooses the focus album is responsible for hosting a discussion and play-through in part 1. They also set a theme.
In part 2, songs are played that fit the theme. In this half all are invited to share, including the host, who is also allowed to play songs from their set theme.In addition to however you like to use Meetup, please use the signupgenious links above as your official rsvp to accomodate those from outside of meetup. No email required.
Do I need to listen to the album in advance?
The expectation is that the group will spend time listening to the focus album in advance of the meetings. This may or may not be their first experience with it.
