One of electronic music’s most influential figures, SUB FOCUS, returns to Sydney in February 2026.

Few artists have shaped the sound and scale of modern drum & bass like Sub Focus. With over two decades at the forefront of the genre, the UK producer and DJ, real name Nick Douwma, has built a reputation for blending underground energy with cinematic production and boundary-pushing live shows.

Joining him for this special event are 1991 and NERO, with NERO’s appearance marking their first return to Australia in 10 years.

Charlotte de Witte brings her signature intensity to Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Friday, 6 March 2025 for a one-off city show ahead of her set at Pitch Music & Arts. Recognised as one of the biggest techno acts in the world, de Witte has built a loyal following among Australian audiences drawn to her uncompromising sound and commanding stage presence.
With more than 10 million fans worldwide and a decade spent shaping the techno landscape as DJ, producer, and label boss, de Witte has taken her sound from underground clubs to the world’s largest stages, including Tomorrowland, Coachella, Lollapalooza, and a headline set at the Las Vegas Sphere.
Crowned DJ Mag’s No.1 Techno DJ five years running (2020–2024), she continues to push the genre forward with uncompromising power and clarity. There are DJs who follow the map, and there are DJs who redraw it. Jyoty belongs firmly in the second camp. A music-industry multihyphenate with a global following, she has built her reputation on instinct, intuition and an unshakeable sense of self. No theatrics, no shortcuts. Just taste, truth and a commitment to real club culture.
Across the world, her sets have become their own kind of gathering place, rooms where borders fall away and tempo becomes a shared language. Jyoty moves freely through contemporary club music, connecting scenes that rarely share the same space: Brazilian baile funk, the East Coast lineages of Philadelphia, Baltimore and New York, cutting-edge sounds from across the African continent, gqom, amapiano, afrobeats, alongside Jamaican dancehall, Dutch bubbling and the full spectrum of UK soundsystem tradition: jungle, funky, grime, garage.
But the list is only ever a clue. Jyoty plays with a sixth sense, reaching into neo-soul, R&B, rap and hip-hop from across eras, or digging out edits from the wilds of SoundCloud. The point is not genre, it’s energy. It’s the feeling of not knowing what’s coming next, and trusting that she does.
Outside of DJing, Jyoty has built a reputation as a cultural connector and mentor, championing representation in music through DJ workshops for women in Calcutta. Evolving from a door person and creative producer into a respected radio host, she has spent nearly a decade curating a Rinse FM residency where her knack for discovering new music and connecting with guests has drawn thousands of listeners worldwide.
Her following reflects that: club kids, soundsystem girlies, dancers, heads, people who show up ready to move without conditions. They come because Jyoty has a rare ability to read a room before the room knows itself. They come because she plays like someone who understands the underground and the mainstream are not opposites, but parts of the same story.
