Welcome to the "Music*Meditation*Mystics & Mountain Retreats" meetups for all souls and cultures! As noted on our thumbnail you are welcome to come be your authentic self! And can come to just listen and meditate or you may bring your instruments, your life songs, and experience inner-peace, in unity where ALL IS ONE.
This meetup tribe of like-minded souls aims to expand consciousness and elevate our vibrational resonance to align with inner-peace, joy and agape love for all of mankind. As we seek to tap deeper into holistic soulful living via the mind, body, spirit connection, we will enjoy events and retreats in sacred mountains. And there in the midst of the Creator's canvas, we will embrace and utilize a diversity of thought found in original uplifting and healing music, and passages from books by mystics throughout the ages, and gain added insights from invited authors, yogis, sound healers, and energy practitioners, and travel to sacred spaces.
If that intention resonates with your spiritual journey, we welcome you as kindred spirits! And I hope you will come out and help us demonstrate what unity and inner-peace can do to manifest the needed harmony with all that's going on in the world today.
As the coordinator for the group, I am affectionately known as "Dr. K" (Amelia Kemp, M.S., Ph.D., LMHC) and am excited to be nestled in the outskirts of Atlanta in the majestic Georgia mountains since "nature has always been my church". For those of you that are unfamiliar with my work, I am an author, ordained metaphysician, licensed psychotherapist, singer-songwriter and reiki practitioner. I hold a non-secular doctorate in Metaphysical Theology and master's degree in Mental Health Counseling. I write and perform healing music and am the author of the groundbreaking book: From Psychotherapy to Sacretherapy (pronounced sacred-therapy with a silent d).
I also co-founded a not-for-profit psycho-spiritual arts project to unify and uplift mankind (see link below), and was also a member of the Oprah Winfrey Belief Team. I've lectured with popular holistic and law of attraction authors such Jack Canfield (author of Chicken Soup for the Soul) and Howard Martin (Heart Math), etc. And not too far down the road, I did a holistic workshop at the Hillside International Truth Center in Atlanta, many years ago at the invitation of the late Dr. Barbara. So, I've been a teacher and seeker like many of you for quite awhile. And still at it! Hoping that as I evolve more and heal the left-over remnants of misalignment within myself that I can help inspire others to do the inner-work too, since I truly believe that only when inner-peace is accomplished can world peace be achieved.
