Join us for a relaxed and supportive coffee meetup designed for parents of young musicians.
Led by a professional classical musician and music educator, this meetup is a space to connect, ask questions, and take the time to get all the information you need. Often, music teachers don’t have the time necessary to walk parents through everything — and the truth is, it’s what happens between the lessons at home that makes all the difference.
Parents of all musicians are welcome, with special expertise in supporting the classical music journey. Together, we’ll explore topics such as practice habits, communication with teachers and at home, creating a musical environment, exams and pathways, performance opportunities, and even career pathways for young musicians. We’ll also touch on posture, nervous system health for young performers, and approaches such as the Alexander Technique.
No question is too small — this is an open, thoughtful discussion where you can receive practical guidance and feel supported.
Whether your child is just starting out or already progressing, you’ll leave with greater confidence, clearer direction, and a sense of connection with other parents on a similar path.
