What we’re about
Guitarists, vocalists, cellists, woodwind players, sax, piano, hand drums... in short, we don't use electricity...We're professionals and closet musicians. Some of us are self trained and some are classically trained. The group has evolved over the years. In its current form, it offers a place for musicians of all levels to get together. The goal is not performance or open mic, it's just a chance to get out and play with others. Whether you are just starting out, or you've been playing for years, come out and meet some other musicians. You can quietly noodle in the background, or lead us in a few tunes. Either way, we hope you'll stop by and play. Cheers!

Pop up Ukecetera for Memorial Day Weekend!
Join us for some cheerful jamming! We're mixed-level acoustic music players and lovers. And we love singing!
Our musical tastes range from jug band to folk to rock to pop to gospel to Americana. Yeah, eclectic!
We're mostly ukulele players—our song sheets favor ukes—however, some of us play guitar, banjo, mandolin, washboard, viola, clarinet, etc.; if you play any acoustic instrument, please join us. All are welcome!
We most often play songs from- Ukulele Clare: https://www.ukuleleclare.com/song-sheets
- San Jose Ukulele Club: https://sanjoseukeclub.org/song_book.html
- Jim's Songs AKA Ozbcoz: https://ozbcoz.com/Songs/
- Our BSC Uke Song Collection
See *BSC Uke Resources for a more complete list of our song sources, as well as links to chord charts and other ukulele tools and music theory resources.
Bring music you'd like to share! We go around, taking turns, each (optionally) choosing a song to play together. It's best if you can bring a tablet/laptop to view the songs chosen.
