This is an all-inclusive group committed to inviting diverse speakers and attendees of all ages, races, and identities.
This group is NOT for people who:
- Have a disrespectful, non-constructive attitude
- Are not open to improving their music and process
- Are not looking to support, listen and lift up other members of the group along the journey

About the organizer:
Jeremy is an Austin/Bali-based singer, rapper, songwriter, record producer, and music coach.
He's on a mission to empower songwriters and producers to collaborate, and make the best music, videos, and impact possible! One island at a time.
Jeremy's solo project, Shimmer Island, creates dreamy folktronica that sounds "like a lovechild of Bon Iver and Sylvan Esso." (KUTX - Song of the Day).
He's successfully crowdfunded his last album, reached over 100,000 music video streams, toured the east coast, and recently joined licensing catalog Soundsync Music (Atx), IndieFlow (Isreal) and ZYX Music label (Germany).
Jeremy is a graduate of Modern Musician’s Golden Artist Academy, has garnered 5-star reviews as guest mentor for the Austin Music Foundation, and mentors students in Ableton production, music videos, and songwriting;
As co-founder of the international Austin Music Video Fest, Jeremy has won several city grants and partnered with artists like Neon Indian, Ok Go, Flaming Lips, and Beyonce.
Through his previous experiential agency, he facilitated millions of dollars into the Austin economy with SXSW Super-sponsors by "pulling off some of the most groundbreaking music activations we’ve seen to date..." (- SXSW).
Non-profit advisory roles have included Austin Soundwaves, Conspirare, Austin Classical Guitar, and Austin Chamber Music Center.
Other passions include fatherhood, meditation, DJing, and traveling.
