## About Us

“Music Makers Tokyo” is a community of music makers, performers, and enthusiasts in Tokyo. Rooted in a love for music and creativity, our group brings together locals and internationals alike who share a passion for creating, exploring, and celebrating music in all its forms. From acoustic and folk to jazz, rock, hip hop, electronic, experimental, and beyond—we welcome diversity, originality, and innovation across the musical spectrum.
If you’ve made music and want to share it with others, this is the place! You can perform live (up to 5 minutes) or send us your track in advance and we’ll play it for the group on the night. We’ll highlight you as the creator, sparking conversations and new connections around your work.

## Our Goals

1. Create a Collaborative Space
   We foster a supportive environment where musicians and creators can meet, share ideas, and build connections. Through open performances and track showcases, members celebrate each other’s work and inspire collaborative projects.
2. Support All Levels of Experience
   Whether you’re a seasoned performer or just starting out, Music Makers Tokyo is a place to grow. We welcome creators of all backgrounds and skills to contribute, learn, and exchange insights.
3. Host Inclusive, Social Events
   Our gatherings at The Den in Koenji provide a welcoming, conversation-friendly space that balances performance with interaction. We aim to break down genre barriers and bring people together through the joy of music.
4. Build an International Community
   Tokyo’s music scene is as diverse as the people in it. We embrace that diversity, creating a unique mix of influences, ideas, and sounds that enrich everyone’s musical journey.
5. Promote Original Music Creation
   In a world filled with covers, remixes, and AI content, we provide a haven for originality. It doesn’t have to be perfect—it just has to be yours. We celebrate creativity and authenticity, offering a space where individuality shines.

「Music Makers Tokyo」 は、東京の音楽制作者、パフォーマー、愛好家が集まるコミュニティです。音楽と創造性への愛を基盤に、音楽を生み出し、探求し、あらゆる形で祝福することを目的に、国内外から集まった人々がつながっています。アコースティックやフォーク、ジャズ、ロック、ヒップホップ、エレクトロニック、実験的な音楽など、幅広いジャンルを歓迎し、多様性と独自性を大切にしています。

自分で作った音楽をシェアしたい方は、ここがぴったりの場所です！最大5分間のライブ演奏ができますし、事前に楽曲を送っていただければ当日に再生します。その際は必ずあなたをクリエイターとして紹介し、新しい会話やつながりを生み出します。

1. コラボレーションの場を作る
   ミュージシャンやクリエイターが出会い、アイデアを共有し、つながりを築けるサポート環境を育みます。オープンパフォーマンスや楽曲の試聴ショーケースを通じて、互いの作品を称え、コラボレーションを促します。
2. あらゆるレベルをサポート
   ベテランから初心者まで、誰もが成長できる場所です。すべての背景・スキルを持つクリエイターを歓迎し、学びや交流を大切にします。
3. 誰でも参加しやすいイベントを開催
   高円寺 The Den での集まりは、演奏と交流のバランスを大切にした、居心地の良い会話中心の空間です。ジャンルの壁を越えて、人々が音楽を通じてつながることを目指しています。
4. 国際的なコミュニティを築く
   東京の音楽シーンは多様で国際的です。その特徴を活かし、さまざまな影響やアイデア、サウンドが混ざり合うユニークなコミュニティを作ります。
5. オリジナル音楽の創作を推進
   カバーやリミックス、AIコンテンツがあふれる現代において、私たちはオリジナリティを重視します。完璧である必要はなく、「自分の音楽」であることが大切です。創造性と個性を称え、ありのままの表現を歓迎します。
