About us
Salam!
Welcome to a new Muslim meet up group, based in Bristol!
We are a Muslim-run group expanding the social circle and community for people who are new in town and local to the area, for all backgrounds, genders and religions (not solely Muslims).
* This is a family-friendly group so mehrams are encouraged.
Activities such as board game evenings, movie nights, open mic/spoken word, annual summer BBQ/picnics, mini getaways, annual or biannual stargazing/meteor shower events, city/urban walks, and more. We are open to suggestions!
Most importantly, I hope this encourages Muslims (new in town, new to Islam, etc) to connect during Ramadan where it can be quite alien observing the month on your own and celebrating Eid ul Fitr and Eid Al Adha alone.
House rules:
- Please do let the organiser know if you are bringing a guest. A lot of events require bookings and some need deposits. It allows them 24hrs to amend the booking and avoid fees!
- Please do let the organiser know if you are no longer coming and take off your name. If there are 3x no-shows for booked events, you will be removed from joining future events which require bookings/deposits.
