Camping & hikes/treks (sisters/family friendly)

Weekend (optional overnight stay)

Brief itinerary:
Saturday:

• 10am-4pm - Brecon Beacons hike (meet at Pont Ar Daf car park)🥾
• 4:30-6:30pm - set up camp at Rhydywernan 🏕️ (location provided)
• 6-9pm - 🪵🧺🍽️campsite social dinner (bring your own BBQs! picnic benches and campfires available)
  10pm-12am - 🔭🌌☄️stargazing/spot a few meteors (weather permitting)

Sunday: (if staying behind)

• 11am-4pm - light waterfall trek 🏞️
• 5pm - home time🚙

** this is event is self-funded for your camping equipment.

You will need to bring your own:

• tent,
• toiletries,
• cooking equipment
• and food.

What’s included with the cost:

• The pitch (will book as a group once numbers are known, with adjustments closer to the time)
• Fridge/Freezer (label your own containers)
• Kitchen facilities
• Shower facilities
• Toilet facilities
• Wi-Fi!! Strong connectivity

Other:

• Stream at the bottom of the campsite
• Petting area for the goats, cows, and animals onsite
• 10 min drive into Brecon Town, and easy access to batman lair (Hendrydd falls) and other landmarks.

Bringing a guest?
More than welcome! The payment is for the pitch, and you can bring additional guests at no extra cost (approx 2-6 per tent)

**HOUSE RULES: **

• It is a family friendly area, where it a quiet zone from 10pm until 7am. Please be mindful of this.
• it is a social event, not a matrimonial one. Please do NOT accost anyone.
• actuvities around are self-funded. Please me mindful of your own budgets.
• take care of each other. If you see anyone who needs help, help them!
