CHAND RAAT (Bristol)

Salam!

We made it to Eid-Ul-Fitr for another year, Alhamdulillah!

Join us for Chand Raat, held on Wednesday 18th March 3-11pm, at Greek Hall (Lower Ashley Rd, Easton, Bristol, BS5 OUL)!

For anyone who is unfamiliar with the tradition, this is a South Asian Muslim tradition in anticipation for Eid day, typically once the hilaal (the crescent) has been sighted in our current location. There’s henna, clothes stalls, food stalls, and general good vibes as a market with friends and family coming together.

It is held at an orthodox Greek church, where there will be a place to pray and continue with Iftar requirements.

Tickets are FREE, and I’ll be there after work (5:30 onwards) to join.
