Salaams, it's that time of year again as fall settles in. We are excited to announce our upcoming Fall Foliage Photography Hike right here in the city! This will be a light, easy-going hike where we can soak in the crisp autumn air and capture the stunning colors of the season together. 🍁
Helpful Information:
✨Bring whatever you like to snap photos — whether it’s your camera, your phone, or just your eyes to take it all in. We'll hike along the trail on Kelly Drive near the art museum. No experience needed, just come ready to enjoy the scenery and good company!
Remember to dress comfortably for the weather and the walk. I suggest wearing comfortable walking or running shoes. Bring water and/or snacks.
Meetup Time:
We plan to meet at are rendezvous point at 11:00 am, and at 11:30 we'll set out together Insha'Allah.
Hike Path:
We will start at the meeting point and then proceed to walk towards the Fountain of the Seahorses. From there, we will proceed walking towards the Schuykill River Trail. The trail has some areas of interest such as:
- The Treehouse in the Sky
- Stone Arch Bridge
- Art Museum Gazebo
- Paine's Park
We will stop at various photo points to let everyone take photos of the scenery. The walk will be an estimated 1.5 - 2 miles and will feature only slight elevation changes (mostly stairs). We will end the hike with lunch afterwards.
