[Mountain to hiking] Mt. Dobongsan
[Meeting date and time] Mar. 2, 2026 at 10:30 a.m.
[Meeting place] Inside Exit 3 of Mangwolsa Station(#112) on Line 1

This course passes through the site of the childhood home of world-renowned mountaineer Hong-gil Eom, crosses the artillery ridge where artillery units were stationed during the Korean War, traverses the V-shaped valley—the prime spot on Mount Dobong—and explores the cave where King Taejo, Yi Seong-gye, prayed for 100 days before founding the Joseon Dynasty. We hope this hike will hold even greater significance for those with a deep interest in history.
