Yucca Flats Stroll, Palmer Park

We'll start out from the Ute Crest / Yucca Flats parking lot and typically follow a figure 8 pattern via the trails. We will walk to the Overlook and back to the parking lot.

Mileage: 2 miles

Difficulty: easy to moderate

Leashes--NOT required if your dog is under voice control/commands.
This is the off leash area of the park.
Note: due to the season, come prepared for ice/snow or mud.

Where to meet: We will meet at the west end of the parking lot near the large sign with the map.

Directions: Enter the park on Paseo Rd, either from Maizeland Ave. or North Circle Drive. Continue on Paseo Rd until you come to the Lazyland group picnic area/Ute Crest turn-off on the north side of the road. Turn onto the dirt/gravel road, then bear left at the Y (the right turn will take you to the group picnic area). Parking area is at the end of the road and the off-leash trails lead out from there.
