About us

The Modern Work Community

This community is a practitioner led community on the real world adoption of Microsoft365.

This community is built for people who use, design, deploy, secure, and operate modern workplaces — including Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Copilot, Power Platform, Entra, Defender, Intune, Viva, and related capabilities that support the Modern Work ecosystem.

Our roots are deeply connected to the aMP/aMS global community, with community events hosted across many cities worldwide—including India, Singapore, Berlin, France, Switzerland, Colombo, Manila, Seoul, and more, covering topics in Azure, Microsoft365 and Power Platform.

What we focus on -

  • Practical case studies from the field
  • Lessons learned from real deployments (what worked, what didn’t)
  • Governance, security, and adoption at scale
  • Copilot and AI in day‑to‑day work
  • Architecture, operations, and change management
  • Development and customizations on the M365 stack

What makes this community different

  • Practitioner‑first: content is driven by real experience, not marketing
  • Vendor‑supported, not vendor‑led: sponsors are welcome, sales pitches are not
  • Curated content: sessions are reviewed to ensure quality and relevance
  • Local chapter, global mindset: part of the broader Modern Work Community

Who should join

  • IT professionals, architects, admins, consultants, and product owners
  • Security and compliance practitioners
  • Change managers and adoption leads
  • Anyone responsible for Microsoft 365 in the real world

Membership criteria
This community is strictly practitioner‑focused.
Membership is intended for individuals who actively work with Microsoft 365 and Modern Work technologies in their day‑to‑day roles (for example: designing, deploying, operating, securing, or driving adoption).
We also accept students passionate with the future of work at college level.

The following are not accepted as members:

  • Non‑practitioners with no hands‑on or operational responsibility
  • Pure sales, marketing, lead‑generation, or recruitment roles
  • Vendor representatives seeking promotional or prospecting access

Membership requests are reviewed, and the organizing team reserves the right to approve or decline applications to protect the community’s practitioner‑first purpose.
