🌄 Trip Overview
Day 1 – Arrival in Guiyang （贵阳）
• Airport pick-up and hotel check-in.
• Welcome dinner to kick off the cycling adventure.
Day 2 – Guiyang （贵阳）– Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village（西江千户苗寨） – Kaili City（凯里） (By Bus, 240km)**
• Breakfast at hotel.
• Visit Xijiang, the largest existing Miao village, experience local architecture and culture.
• Lunch in the village, then drive to Kaili.
• Bike fitting + dinner.
• Evening village-themed party show (7:00–9:30 PM).
Day 3 – Kaili（凯里） – Langde Miao Village（朗德苗寨） – Leishan County（雷山） (Cycle 41km, max grade 7.5%, climb 410m)**
• First day of cycling: Ride 28km along Bala River to Langde Miao Village (torch relay village during 2008 Olympics).
• After lunch, cycle 13km to Leishan County for overnight.
Day 4 – Leishan（雷山） – Wudong Miao Village（乌东苗寨）– Leigong Mountain（雷公山） – Xiaodanjiang Miao Village（小丹江苗寨）
(Cycle 57km, max grade 13%, climb 1100m)
• The most challenging day.
• After a short flat stretch, start a 23km climb (total elevation gain: 1100m), then 30km descent into Xiaodanjiang Miao Village.
• Stay in a mountain homestay and experience rural life.
Day 5 – Xiaodanjiang – Leli Miao Village – Zhaihao Town – Rongjiang County
(Cycle 96km, max grade 9%, climb 690m)
• After breakfast with birdsong, ride along Route 1.
• 10km flat + 5km climb, then 81km mostly flat or downhill.
• Ride through multiple Miao and Dong villages, arrive at Rongjiang (origin of the viral “Village Super League”).
Day 6 – Rongjiang（榕江） – Congjiang County（从江）
(Cycle 77km, max grade 13%, climb 510m)
• Ride along the Duliu River.
• 36km to Xiajiang Town for lunch, then continue 41km to Congjiang.
Day 7 – Congjiang （从江）– Xiaohuang（小黄村） – Huanggang Dong Village （黄岗侗寨）– Zhaoxing Dong Village（肇兴）
(22km drive + 33km ride, max grade 13%, climb 210m)
• Transfer by car to Xiaohuang Village (bikes transported separately).
• Start cycling 7km to Huanggang Dong Village, lunch and local life experience.
• Continue 26km to Zhaoxing, one of the most beautiful Dong villages.
• Scenic shuttle within the village + overnight stay in traditional Dong architecture.
Day 8 – Zhaoxing (肇兴）– Tang’an Dong Village（堂安村） – Return to Guiyang（ 贵阳） (By Bus, 290km, ~4 hrs)**
• Morning at leisure.
• Optional visit to Tang’an Dong Village.
• Noon departure to Guiyang.
• Celebration dinner in Guiyang.
Day 9 – Departure from Guiyang （贵阳）
• Breakfast and airport transfer.
• End of the cycling journey.

This is a very special and unique 9 days cycling in the western Sichuan ( Tibetan). Riding about 350km cycling through various terrains and amazing famous sites like a local with lots of chances to interact with local people. Take your camera to record many picturesque sceneries and incredible landscape. This trip is specially designed for those who love to explore on 2 wheels and travel like locals. You will experience Tibetan life styles in many areas. The Tibetan people; cattle; fresh air; cool breeze; blue sky and thousands of twinkling stars will relax your body and mind. April is in the middle of the best cycling season in this part of China. This is a great trip to give yourself a chance to discover the joy of bicycle and diversity of our culture in just eight days.
