Join us for a meaningful and heartwarming Bike Ride to Ju Eng Nursing Home, where every pedal makes a difference! This special event is not just about staying active—it's about giving back to the community and showing care for our elderly residents.

As part of our outreach initiative, each participant is required to bring along one packet of Quaker Oats or Milo Powder (please see photos below for the correct item), which will be donated to the nursing home to support their daily nutritional needs. If you’re feeling generous, you are more than welcome to donate more of these 2 items—every contribution counts and is deeply appreciated.

This ride combines the joy of cycling with the spirit of compassion. Whether you're an avid cyclists or just looking for a way to contribute, come join us and ride for a cause. Let’s make a positive impact together!

All participants are required to abide by following rules for every MBG events

Ride Safety Instructions:
1. Come on time to NOT miss pre-ride briefing
2. No overlapping of wheels
3. Do not overtake appointed Pullers
4. Pullers will give instructions on direction, filtering and lights. The rest shall not!
5. Do not fall behind the appointed sweepers. If you have to break off, inform the sweepers
6. Ride predictably; ride well inside (2/3 when in double paceline) inside traffic lanes - do not drift close to the line on the ride causing disruption to oncoming vehicle on the right lane
7. Do not filter to next lane without instruction from pullers and/or sweepers
8. No free wheeling - play with gears and tap brakes
9. Pass on messages, and point to obstacles and potholes
10. No sudden brakes. If you drop anything, inform the lead and continue to ride. Stop at a convenient location and pick up safely.

• Ride Grading: 2.5 (easy 1 - 4 very strenuous)

• Terrain: PCN/Road Tarmac

• Bicycle type: Any

• Pace: 18 - 22 km/hr rolling on flats

• Cycling distance: 25- 30 km

The first part of the ride is to ride to donate the items bought to the home. Next, we proceed to roll to Seletar Aeorospace to do 2 loop relax ride , visit the nearby fishing village and Rover Bay Park before heading back to Anchorvale.

Safe riding is our priority and we will have a safety brief before the ride.

Cyclist please remember to bring your helmet as it is compulsory for this ride - No Helmet no ride.

Important Safety Instructions!

  1. Follow traffic rules. Stop at red lights.

  2. No overtaking on left.

  3. Only overtaking on the right and check blindspot/traffic on your back before executing.

  4. Ride in a predictable manner and keep to your lane

  5. Keep 3 meters (safe distancing) length from front cyclist.

  6. No sudden emergence braking if you drop something.

  7. Do not ride or stop beside tipper truck or bus. Always stay behind big vehicles.

  8. Show the different Hand signals

  9. Echo or signal hazards to the cyclist behind you

  10. No helmet no ride!

  11. Night Rides must have rear red lights and front lights.
