Volunteer to Plant Fruit Trees

Details

This event is cross-posted, and space is limited so please RSVP to reserve your spot!

🌳 Planting for a Purpose: Join us as we come together to plant trees and create a Food Forest next to Terrell Community Garden that will provide a free source of fresh, local produce for the community.

🌻No Experience Needed: Bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to get your hands dirty! Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. Whether you're an experienced gardener or a first-time planter, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn, connect, and make a lasting impact on the community.

What to Bring:
We will provide all tools and gardening gloves. Bring your own gloves if you have any. This event is outdoors, so:

  • Bring bug spray and sunscreen
  • Bring refillable water bottles
  • Wear closed-toed shoes
  • Wear pants/long sleeves to minimize bug/poison ivy exposure

Your hands can make a difference, and together, we'll cultivate a greener, more vibrant Austell! We can't wait to see you there! 🌳🌿
