Laurel Canyon Trail from Willow Staging Area, Laguna Beach, 7.5 Mi, apprx 700-800 feet of elevation gain, 8:30 AM.

Park at Willow Staging Area, off Laguna Canyon Road, $3 parking fee.

Expect to hike approximately 2.5 to 3 hours depending on pace and stops. We’ll just go with the flow and stick together.

I mapped out 7.5 miles on Google maps, so we’ll start on Laurel Canyon, pass Emoji Rock and venture out to Lizard and beyond, ending on WillIow Canyon at the parking lot.

I just hiked this area a couple of weeks ago for the first time, it’s beautiful with a few good hills, lots of sycamore trees and rock faces. I just love 😍Emoji Rock. We won’t pass next to it, but we will see it from a view. There is an option to go back to Stagecoach trail at the end of our hike and go straight to Emoji if anyone wants to add another mile or so.
