ETIWANDA FALLS, 7:00 Carpool, 8:00 AM Trailhead, Apprx 6-7 Miles, aprx 1100 feet elevation gain.
North Etiwanda Preserve, 4890 Etiwanda Ave, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91739
- Extreme heat, mid 80s+ will cancel, hoping for moderate weather!
- Sorry, no dogs allowed in the preserve.
A beautiful Waterfall hike not far from Orange County. The beginning of the hike is a bit exposed, however once we near the waterfall the desert scape transforms into an oasis with a beautiful creek surrounded by tall alder, maple, bay, sycamore, and willow trees.
Carpool available from Tustin Marketplace.
$3 parking. The lot could be full. Park along residential side streets as close as you can and we’ll all meet at the parking lot. I will wait for everyone!
- 7:00 AM CARPOOL, Meet at Tustin Market Place Parking Lot between REI and Ethan Allen. Park nearest to Ethan Allen (see image marked with "X" in the photos). It is apprx 90 minute drive to the Trailhead. I’ll be glad to drive anyone who wants to come along with me. I have room for four more.
