Moo-ving Through the Dunes with an optional private sauna and swimming

Hey there, fellow explorers!

This time, we’re heading to the beautiful Zuid-Kennemerland National Park, just west of Haarlem. It’s a stunning coastal reserve with rolling dunes, peaceful forests, and incredible wildlife—think Highland cattle, Konik horses, and even European bison! With a bit of luck, we’ll spot some along the way.

We’ll kick things off at 10:10 AM at a super cute local café in Overveen. It’s the perfect spot to meet, grab a coffee, and I highly recommend trying their tostis! After that, we’ll dive into the tranquility of the dunes and forests, chatting, exploring, and keeping an eye out for wildlife.

When hunger strikes, we’ll head toward the beach for a cozy picnic. Feel free to bring your lunch and something to share, or grab some fresh fish and chips with me at Bloemendaal aan Zee. And if you’ve got a kite, ball, or any fun beach gear, bring it along - let’s tap into our inner kids!

As the day winds down, we’ll return to Overveen where you can treat yourself to a pancake dinner at a charming local spot. Or, for 8 brave souls, join me for a private sauna session right on the beach in Zandvoort aan Zee (mixed, swimsuits mandatory, 18:00–19:30). It’s the perfect way to kick off the swimming season and recharge - with an optional dip in the North Sea for the daring!
