Van GOgh to the forest!

Hey there, fellow explorers!

This time, we’re heading for a day packed with nature and art at the breathtaking De Hoge Veluwe National Park.

Not only will we wander and cycle through some of the Netherlands' most stunning landscapes, but we’ll also dive into the second largest collection of Van Gogh’s masterpieces right in the heart of the park.

De Hoge Veluwe is a true cultural gem, lovingly created in the early 20th century by Anton and Helene Kröller-Müller. Anton, a passionate hunter, secured the land, while Helene, an art lover and visionary, dreamed of a museum open to everyone — and that's exactly where we’re heading.

Get ready for a full day of adventure: exploring four different types of forests, sand drifts, heathlands, grasslands, and spotting wildlife like red deer, wild boar, and mouflons. Plus, soul food for the heart with breathtaking art.

We’ll kick things off at 10:10 AM at the main entrance of De Hoge Veluwe National Park. After meeting up, grabbing our free white bikes, and a quick hello, we will go to the heart of the park, having a stop for the introduction and a cup of coffee on the way.

Then we’ll set off to explore the beauty of the park. stopping for a relaxed lunch and then diving into the Kröller-Müller Museum’s treasures.

As the day winds down, we’ll cycle back towards town where you’re welcome to join for a cozy drink and bite at a local restaurant to toast to a day well spent.
Tickets:

What to bring:

• Your lunch and something small to share (think fruits, chocolate, nuts)
• A water bottle
• Comfortable clothes and shoes for cycling and walking based on weather forecast
• Something to sit on for our lunch break
• Your lovely personality
