WordPress Workshop

ATTENDANCE GOAL
Last time we had 21 in attendance! We appreciate everybody taking the time to join us. It is great to see the excitement building, and it's nice to enjoy tech networking with so many enthusiastic people. We hope that we can reach our goal of 30 in attendance this time.

THE PLAN
This workshop will have a mix of beginner and intermediate level training on WordPress. We will continue building and designing the demo website that we have been working on. I think you will find this Meetup very helpful.

Sue White will be joining us with a presentation about Driving Traffic To Your Website.

You have built a great website in WordPress but is it optimized for the search engines. Will your prospective customer/client be able to find you when they search for your products or services? What offsite methods can you use to make sure the search engines find your site and will rank it where people are looking?

Sue White has close to 10 years of experience with ranking local businesses where their prospects are actively looking for their services. We will discuss various methods of ranking a local website on the internet and being found in searches.

PARKING
There is free parking available in front and behind the building. Do not park in front of Healthy Home Carpet Cleaning. (They Tow)

WHAT TO BRING

• Laptop or Tablet computing device to follow along. (make sure that it is fully charged, as we have a limited number of power outlets.)
• Writing pad and utensil for note taking.
• An eager desire to learn something fun.

AFTER-PARTY
We will hang out at the Doesn't Matter Bar and Grill right after the meetup for some libations and networking.
