MySQL InnoDB Cluster provides a complete high availability solution for MySQL. MySQL Shell includes AdminAPI which enables you to easily configure and administer a group of at least three MySQL server instances to function as an InnoDB cluster. Each MySQL server instance runs MySQL Group Replication, which provides the mechanism to replicate data within InnoDB clusters, with built-in failover.
The ease of use of the adminAPI for MySQL InnoDB Cluster prompted the MySQL team to develop an equivalent for classic asynchronous replication: MySQL InnoDB ReplicaSet: this solution provides similar adminstration for classic MySQL Replication as InnoDB Cluster did for Group Replication. We take a strong technology that is very powerful but can be complex, and provide an easy-to-use AdminAPI for it in the MySQL Shell.
In just a few easy to use Shell commands, a MySQL Database Architecture can be setup.

In this talk, I wil explore the type of backups we can apply on MySQL and how to develop reasonable backup and recovery strategies and to build a highly available and highly reliable MySQL database backup and recovery system on the cloud and on perm.
