Join us as we revive the forgotten tradition of crescent sighting on one of West Barnstable's beaches, set our intentions for the new Hijri year, and dive into understanding the lunar significance in Islamic tradition.
We will explore the Islamic calendar system with a special focus on the sacred first month of Muharram and conclude with journaling and group discussion.
Refreshments will be served at the end.
