This Sunday the Campbell Conversations season will culminate with a video presentation and our Coming of Middle Age (COAMA) statements. Each of us is encouraged to present a brief summary of our personal beliefs (credos) after the video that cover "where we are" and "who we are" at this stage in our lives. People are encouraged to share any art, poetry, etc. that they would like. Afterwards we'll open it up to discussion.
This will be the last roundtable of the season before we start back up again in the fall.
Campbell Conversations is a roundtable discussion group in Dallas, Texas associated with the Joseph Campbell Foundation (http://www.jcf.org/new/index.php) that meets to discuss the writings of Joseph Campbell (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Campbell), an American teacher and philosopher best known for his work in the field of comparative mythology (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparative_mythology).
The Roundtable meets on or near the first Sunday of each month, depending on availability of presenters, from 6-8 pm. If you are interested in attending, please sign up for our newsletter (http://www.campbellconversations.org/mailing-list/) or meetup.com group (https://www.meetup.com/mythology-58/).
